Permits

On grid photovoltaic installations selling their energy require a number of permits and need to follow a series of bureaucratic steps involving several public administrations and official bodies before they can be legalised and commissioned. Marina d'Or Energías Renovables will carry out all necessary steps to obtain each and every permit, as follows:

As a first step we will request a preliminary study on grid connection on your behalf from the electricity supply company active in the area. The electricity company will issue the technical and economic report within 30 days, laying out the details of the works necessary for connecting your photovoltaic installation to the grid. While this is happening we will present the pertinent documentation for the small building works permits required by law and the “new activity” licence before the corresponding local authority.

Once having obtained the technical and economic report on grid connection and once the building works permit has been issued, installation can proceed. Marina d'Or Energías Renovables and our engineers specialising in photovoltaic technology will draw up the solar installation’s execution project.

Photovoltaic installations with a power output above 10 KW are required to have their electrical project drafted by a chartered engineer, for posterior legalization. While the installation is being carried out, Marina d'Or Energías Renovables will begin the necessary steps for formalizing the energy purchase agreement with the supply company. Once the installation is finalised, we will apply for the necessary connection certificates and for the first meter reading.

Having carried out all the necessary steps, Marina d'Or Energías Renovables will present all the pertinent documentation at the Ministry of Industry’s Regional Delegation, registering the installation in the RIPRE (Register of Producers under the Special System). With said registration, the installation is now fully legalized and invoicing can begin for the energy generated.
