What type of contract is used?

The industrial unit's owner and Marina d'Or Energías Renovables enter into a rooftop rental contract. The contract is signed with a term of 25 years, renewable once the initial period expires.

This rental contract ensures that the rooftop owner will receive an agreed monthly income for the next 25 years.

All the costs associated with the installation and commissioning of the photovoltaic rooftop will correspond to Marina d'Or Energías Renovables.

Maintenance cost and the premiums for insuring the materials will also be paid by Marina d'Or Energías Renovables.

Is my rooftop suitable for a photovoltaic installation?

The minimum rooftop surface area necessary for installation is approximately 4,000 m2. The installation can be carried out on several neighbouring rooftops belonging to the same owner.

Will my rooftop take the weight of the installation?

Marina d'Or Energías Renovables has a team of engineers and installers who will carry out a detailed rooftop study in accordance with defined standards. If there is any risk at all, the installation will not be done.

Do I have to carry out any bureaucratic steps?

None at all, we will take all the necessary bureaucratic steps related with the new installation.

Will my insurance go up?

As a general rule of thumb, standard coverage for industrial units is sufficient. If you need to increase your insurance premium, we will assume the extra cost in your quotas.

Can I sell my unit after the installation is carried out?

Of course. You will also find that, with the installation in place, your industrial unit will become a more attractive proposition with the new owner assured an extra income for the remainder of the contract period.

The new owner has to assume the obligations included in the previously signed contract.

What happens once the contract term expires?

The contract can be renewed for shorter periods or it can be renegotiated. If, on the contrary, there is no desire to continue, we will uninstall the installation and will leave the rooftop free.

What happens if my rooftop is damaged?

The photovoltaic installation's insurance policy will cover the damage. By contract you must be given a copy of the photovoltaic insurance policy.
